We believe a local church should seek to lead people into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. Our priority is to make disciples who make disciples.
We currently offer Sunday School/Bible Study on Sunday mornings at 9:45 AM. We have an Adult Couples class, a Women’s class, Men’s class, a Youth class, Children’s class, and Preschool class, and Nursery.
WORSHIP & MUSIC
We have multi-generational blended worship consisting of a traditional hymn and contemporary worship songs. Our children and youth worship with our adults in a family setting.
After the anthem in worship, our children go to Worship Kidstyle, a video-driven extended session from their Sunday School lesson.
Our youth remain in worship on Sundays.
Dinner, Discussion, and Prayer is our Wednesday evening potluck for families at 6:15 PM. Discussion is based on an article of interest that Pastor Dan has distributed on Sundays and electronically. Prayer time follows our discussion.
Our Women’s Ministry is an intentional gathering of women who love the Lord, who want to celebrate life together, hold one another accountable, pray for one another and be involved in mission action.
The purpose of our Women’s Ministry is to meet the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of women at FBCD and within our community. To encourage women to grow in their faith in Christ, to develop and strengthen intimate friendships with other women and to provide opportunities to serve and reach our community for Christ. To be a source of support, love and outreach, to be disciples for our Church and Community, actively living our lives for the Lord. To pray for one another and for all women in our community, that they may come to know and accept Christ as their personal Savior.
We would be honored to have you join us on the first Thursday of every month at 7:00 pm. We meet in the Ladies Classroom. For more info please call Sherry Jewell, 517-669- 2003.

We want your experience with a church to become an essential part of your life. We’ve come to believe that for a church to be essential, members need to be involved in a Bible study group/Sunday School class, attend worship weekly, attend one or two short term discipleship studies in a year, and be involved in a ministry either within the church or a church sponsored ministry in the community.
